The resort of Kubínska hoľa is located 8 km northwest of Dolný Kubín in the Orava Magura mountains at an altitude ranging from 720 to 1396 metres. The top of the slopes offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Western Tatras and the peaks of Choč The slopes are south facing and are equipped with 2 chairlifts and 4 buttocks pulls for advanced skiers and 4 others for beginners. The resort, which is quite large with its 14 km of slopes, has a ski and snowboard school, ski and snowboard rental shops,
