This torture chamber is located in the underground spaces of the museum. It was here that the famous Slovak Robin Hood, the brigand Juraj Janošìk, was tried and executed from 16 to 17 March 1713. The instruments on display evoke the atmosphere of a time when torture was part of the trial. A multimedia information panel with a touch screen allows visitors to consult interesting texts and documents about the Jánošík trial in English.
