ASSOCIATION KESAJ TCHAVÉ
Kesaj Tchavé, or the fairy of children in Romani. This association that has existed since 2000 contributes to the integration of Roma children through music, singing and dance. Heirs of the Czech anthropologist Milena Hübschmannová, the Kesaj Tchavé tries to restore the pride of this community cursed through the elements of their millennial culture, which successive attempts at integration have altered. The Kesaj Tchavé today has a strong troupe of Roma young people in the surrounding area who offer a colourful show in colour. Success is at the meeting, since the show is exported on all the national and international stages, in France, Hungary and Italy. Behind this success, another pride for the organizers, that of seeing day after day negative stereotypes fades for young Roma and their pride restored. To attend a rehearsal, to which every traveller is welcome, contact Ivan Akimov (in Kezmarok). For the dates of possible concerts in France, call Johann (in France).
