The mineral water in the village of Červený Kláštor has been around since time immemorial. Because of the specific smell of hydrogen sulfide, locals believed it came from another, supernatural world. The first spa was built as early as 1824, then destroyed during the First World War. Refurbished in 2012, it now boasts a modern infrastructure. A full range of procedures and treatments is offered.
