THE BEER HOUSE

This tavern is located in the heart of the historic center, next to the cathedral and theater. Equipped with a restaurant, it is divided into smoking and non-smoking areas. As its name suggests, the Beer House has a good selection of beers from Slovakia and the Czech Republic, as well as other alcoholic beverages. The restaurant is straightforward, serving food on the go during the day or in the evening, with snacks to accompany the drinks. It's a student institution, packed to the rafters at weekends, especially during the regular concerts.
