This classic style building was built on two floors between 1777 and 1779 after the sale of its medieval town hall (now the Spiš Museum). It served as a city hall, and until the 1950s, all major events in Spišská Nova Ves were held around this building. The most important part of this building is its large meeting room located in the middle of the building. Today, it is used as a ceremonial room for weddings, for example.
