This collection, which traces the history of mining in the region, belongs to the Slovak Science and Technology Museum. You can see all the tools of the miners of the time and maps locating the extraction deposits. Another part exhibits 500 mineral samples from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and twenty-three other countries around the world. This museum also offers various temporary exhibitions and cultural events.
