Built between 1320 and 1380, the Minorite church and monastery are Roman Catholic. This space was dedicated to the poorest of the poor. After the Reformation in 1544, it was taken over by the Evangelicals. It did not return to Catholicism until 1673, when Emperor Leopold I ordered the introduction of Jesuits. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the church underwent several alterations, and today boasts one of the best-preserved Baroque interiors in the country.
