Located on the Franciscan Square, this building was built in the 14th century on the site of an old Slovak church. The city handed over this church to the Carmelite order, which built a new Gothic church linked to a monastery. The present appearance of the church with its two majestic towers decorated in stucco dates from 1708-1718 at the initiative of the Franciscans. The sculptures of Saint Roch on the face of the church date from 1733.
