In the small park on the square is the Town Hall building and its old 16th century cellars that fed the city's taverns. These premises were transformed into a prison and even a torture chamber for a short period of time, but today it houses the museum that traces the wine history of Slovakia, Bohemia and Moravia. Didactic, he endeavours to describe the making of wine to visitors and to instill in them some rules for tasting.
