The Šariš Gallery is one of the oldest regional galleries in Slovakia. It is located in two exhibition areas in the southern part of the historic Prešov Square. Its collections contain various works of art from the 15th to the 21st century from the Šariš region and others from eastern Slovakia. The jewel in its collection is its series of rare historical icons, including the Michel Archangel of 1560, one of the most precious in Slovakia.
