The French airline has been in existence since 1933. In 2004, an alliance with the Dutch airline led to the creation of the privatized Air France-KLM group. For Djibouti (JIB), Air France-KLM offers a weekly direct flight (7-hour journey) from Paris Charles-de-Gaulle on Wednesday evenings, and from Djibouti on Thursday evenings. Round-trip fares start at 800 euros (variable fares, see website). The agency is located on the premises of the Institut Français. The staff provide a warm welcome and excellent service.
