An ecotourism camp with 5 huts that allow you to immerse yourself in nature and the grandiose scenery of Assamo.

This ecotourism camp, managed by the Décan association, offers the experience of total immersion in nature and the grandiose scenery of Assamo. As in Djalelo (towards Petit Bara), where the second site of this kind is located, one is bowled over by such natural beauty. The camp is located far from any road, on the outskirts of the protected area which shelters the very rare Beira antelope. It has 5 huts for 5 people and 3 showers. There is no restaurant, but all the necessary equipment is available to travellers.

ASSAMO plus éloigné de DJIBOUTI que DJALELO mais bien plus sympa.
Le campement ECOTOURISTIQUE D'ASSAMO est bien plus éloigné de DJIBOUTI que celui de DJALELO mais est selon moi bien plus sympa et beau. Pour vous y rendre la route asphalté arrive pratiquement jusqu'au village d'ASSAMO (Compter 2 bonnes heures de route depuis DJIBOUTI) puis une piste cassante pendant 01H15 environ. Inscription à l'agence du GOUBET (5000 FDJ/ Pers. que ce soit adulte ou enfant pour 24H00) en centre Ville de DJIBOUTI. Le plan de l'itinéraire téléchargeable sur le site du refuge DECAN est très bien fait et permet de se passer de guide. Je n'y été jamais allé et grâce au plan de l'itinéraire avec photos que j'avais imprimé avant notre départ nous avons trouvé facilement. Un site que je ne peux que recommander.
