SHARK POOL
A basin formed on the edge of the coastline and cut off from the Gulf, allowing you to discover sharks without getting wet.
At the bottom of the Goubet, this crater-shaped excavation, a basin formed at the edge of the coastline and cut off from the gulf by a small basalt wall, is so named because sometimes sharks, which have ventured there at high tide, find themselves trapped there once the sea has receded. One can thus contemplate them quietly, and without getting wet. But you can also go there and see nothing at all. Whale sharks, on the other hand, don't venture out there. They can be found in the Gulf of Tadjourah, near the beach of Arta.
