An interactive show to get up close and personal with Reykjavik's molten lava, and learn more about its secrets.

Do you dream of witnessing an eruption in Iceland? Open since 2018 in Vik, the Lava Show is an interactive show that's been so successful that it was unthinkable that it wouldn't make it to Reykjavik. Now, in 2022, it's here, with a venue that can accommodate around 100 people. After a report on the biggest eruptions in Iceland, you can admire the spectacle of molten lava recreated to understand all its secrets and get as close as possible in complete safety. Watch out for rising temperatures!

The premium ticket was a waste of money - the show itself is very interesting. But with the premium ticket you sit on a balcony and have the worst seats, but your ticket is more expensive. The backstage 'tour' afterwards is a 5 Min speech ... not really a tour.

Pleasantly surprised at this show. Was expecting a kitchy tourist trap, found things were well done and informational.

Easy to find and super easy to park. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The lava show had a very informative video followed by a great demonstration. Smaller groups and able to ask questions. The french man conducting the show definitely knew his facts and was able to explain the process. Wish I had visited at the start of the trip and I would have understood the island more! Would definitely recommend

This was absolutely a fantastic, astonishing and amazing show. You may THINK it’s a tourist trap but you would be wrong!! They actually, no kidding around, REALLY have molten lava come into the room!! I will tell you the most basic ticket does this and is worth it. The more expensive ticket adds a drink, a balcony seat, a chance to see backstage how the lava is remelted for every show, and a piece of volcanic glass. The geological expert has amazing information you may never have heard. This is a sight to see!!
