Sehr schönes modernes Hotel mit Food Court, schönen Sitzmöglichkeiten und nettem Service. Das Frühstück war KLEIN, aber fein. Einziges Manko bei unserem Zimmer, man hat die ganze Nacht den Bass der Musik gehört. Wenn man mal wieder Menschen sehen will, bietet sich dieses Hotel an.

What a great find for a place to stay outside Reykjavik! They let us into the room early since we drove straight from the airport, and were helpful any time we needed ~ especially the receptionist who even looked up where we could buy frisbi discs when we found there were two disc courses nearby! (Sorry we didn't get her name but she was a local) The room was cozy and clean with a great view, and the bar downstairs served great cocktails. Wide variety of places to eat in the hotel, but we were in walking distance of a local brewery/pizzeria... For a small town, had fascinating geothermal spots everywhere ~ don't miss the rift between Europe & North America outside the post office!
Definitely a perfect base for outdoor adventures nearby and further away!

We chose this place for the location & it's a cool concept. It's obvious they've decided to cut corners on the hotel & service. Staying here was a mistake on my part, I wouldn't stay here again.

If you want to rest…don’t stay here. I’m currently in my room. The second floor AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It’s almost midnight and the people upstairs are walking around nonstop almost as if stomping. Cute place with great potential but not well thought out to accommodate all guests. Honestly minus second floor and the rude guests above not a bad place but for what you pay, get what you want. If I return, I’d only accept 3rd floor. This is ridiculous.

This hotel is amazing for the price. Its clean and comfortable and stylish. The bed and linens were so cozy! Its set above a small food hall with a bar and 4 or 5 food options. Lots of cool places to sit and hang out. We were on the second floor and heard no noise at all. Slept so well!

This hotel was as quaint and neat as it looked online when finding somewhere to stay around Selfoss. The room was great for a one night stay. We may have just had bad luck with the hotel and food hall staff, but everyone was extremely unwelcoming and unfriendly. Perhaps it was because we weren’t local but we were ignored, looked at/watched, and felt uncomfortable the entire time. We would not stay here again because of the bad vibes we got.

מלון נחמד בעיירה הקרובה למרכז השבילים. מקבלים כניסה חינם לבריכה המקומית וכמובן מומלץ לעשות את הטיולים באיזור. חדרים מרווחים ונוחים. שירות איסלנדי אדיב ונעים.
יש טיולי אופניים 5 דקות נסיעה משם של IceBike, מעולים.

We stopped here for dinner after visiting reykjadalur valley. The food was excellent and location even better. I would really recommend this place for the atmosphere alone.

Overall, very cool place to stay. The greenhouse theming was very neat and the shopping/restaurants on the base floor were very convenient. Only complaint is that our room was so hot that I couldn’t sleep. There was no air conditioning. There was a window but the street noise was substantial.

Great, neat hotel! Love the concept. Bartender was nice and Benny the Security guy also makes good drinks when they close at 10. Rooms are cozy and bathrooms are clean. My only complaint was no one cleaned the room there when we were gone for the day (stayed two nights)

Dieses Hotel war mein Highlight auf der Reise. Nachdem eine AirBnB Buchung ziemlich schrecklich war und wir dort direkt rückwärts wieder raus sind, haben wir hier kurzfristig das letzte Zimmer bekommen. Rezeption ist 24/7 besetzt, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und umsorgt, da das Zimmer eigentlich nicht verfügbar sein sollte. Kurze Reinigung und eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit aus dem Food Court später waren wir einfach nur noch glücklich hier zu sein. Saubere Zimmer, groß genug für 2 Personen plus Gepäck. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Tolles Konzept mit dem Store und Food Court unten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße, Lautstärke völlig okay, Aussicht toll. Zu Fuß kann man hier gut ein paar Runden drehen und auch zum Frost & Fire Hotel hochlaufen, bei dem es einen Wasserfall und einige heiße Quellen gibt. Danke für die Rettung ❤

Very comfortable hotel in a great little town. The staff was so warm and helpful including Dace, Kasia, Bernhardt and Savana. They were among the friendliest staffers we encountered in Iceland!

Some examples of their help: when I accidentally booked 2 non refundable rooms, I was able to extend a single room for another day instead; letting us know if/when the northern lights would come out; arranging late checkout without any problems.

The hotel is very comfortable. Rooms are on the smaller side, they have all the conveniences including kettle, pod coffeemaker, minibar with free bottled water. There is street noise so ask for a room facing back if possible. The room also was on the warmer side so our window was open all the time.

The hotel lobby consists of a food hall with lots of choices and a very stocked store with high end clothing, gifts and food. It was fun to shop there.

The town feels like a real Icelandic working town. I enjoyed the local 50m geothermal swimming pool. There’s a big Bonus supermarket next to the hotel as week as a nice bakery and pharmacy.

Great extra amenities. Easy access location, I even found a yarn shop nearby (Bobby's). Really liked the food options, and the shops are well thought out.

A nice hotel and good concept. Unfortunately, you almost can not sleep on the second floor, because below in the bar/food hall even from 24 o'clock very loud music with penetrating bass is played. Until deep into the night.

Great vibe. Multiple small little restaurants inside of the hotel on the ground floor. Amazing seating with leather and various chairs. There's also a rooftop lounge. Tried out the taco truck and had some nachos which were great.

Minimalist hotel. No views. No housekeeping service. The room was VERY hot. Not cheap enough for the lack of typical hotels services. They are trying to save money not the planet. And very noisy at night until 2:00am.

We loved the Greenhouse! We visited for two nights with Icebike Adventures. The rooms were spacious and clean. The food hall was so good with many options, the fish of the month was one of our best meals in Iceland. Dipped soft serve ice cream for dessert, many beer options and the hotel breakfast was excellent. I found the second floor lounge, but didn't find the roof top bar until the very end....I wish I had found that sooner!

The greenhouse hotel is a fresh and beautiful hotel. The staff is so nice and are willing to do everything to make the guest feel the most welcome. I can highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is ok. The rooms are small, so are the beds (queen size). The decoration is really nice. The room we had was quiet and clean. The reception (where they serve breakfast as well) and the food market area are very loud. VERY LOUD... Service is friendly.

Dies Hotel war der Absturz innerhalb unserer Islandrundreise. Nie wieder, ein Stern ist noch zu viel. Für klassische Ballermannurlauber (Fressmeile nebenan!)mag das klasse sein, sucht man aber Island/Ruhe/Natur ist man hier definitiv falsch. Das Frühstück ist keine 2 m von der Rezeption entfernt, direkt im Frühstücksraum ein 24/7 Touriladen alles mit Aussicht auf ein Gewerbegebiet/Parkplatz. Für 4 Sitzplätze mussten wir uns die Stühle zusammensuchen. Das Speisenangebot ist einfalls- und lieblos. 1 Sorte Käse......mehr Auswahl nur gegen Bezahlung an der Kasse. Ich bin um die Welt gereist, das war wirklich das ärmste Frühstück, das ich in einem Hotel jemals erlebt habe. Wir waren einfach alle froh, dies Hotel wieder zu verlassen und haben versucht möglichst schnell zu frühstücken (maximal ungemütlich, Durchgangsatmosphäre, um Island wieder genießen zu können.) Fazit: Nie wieder Greenhouse in Island!!!!!
