Hestheimar is a charming place located in the heart of South Iceland, between the Golden Circle and the road to Vik. They have six comfortable cottages where you can feel at home and very nice and comfortable rooms. The breakfast room and the living room have a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside, the large ranch and the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes. Here you can relax in the midst of nature with a nice bath in the hot tubs while enjoying a hot chocolate or a glass of wine.

De hottub was wel iets te warm om in te gaan.
However, too pricey for a very basic room.
Hosts are not really friendly and rather unwelcoming.
Le cadre par contre était absolument formidable et féerique. Notre cottage était bien placé et très silencieux. Nous y avons très bien dormi. La salle de dîner était très cosy et chaleureuse.

Kinder am dritten Tag Schnitzel gemacht. Alles frisch.
Frühstück ebenfalls frisch und lecker.
Hotel ist ruhig gelegen, Zimmer neu.
