Hestheimar is a charming place located in the heart of South Iceland, between the Golden Circle and the road to Vik. They have six comfortable cottages where you can feel at home and very nice and comfortable rooms. The breakfast room and the living room have a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside, the large ranch and the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes. Here you can relax in the midst of nature with a nice bath in the hot tubs while enjoying a hot chocolate or a glass of wine.

Super nice and clean cottage, very peaceful and quiet. The breakfast was super and the staff is super friendly! The nature here is tremendous. If you love horses, this is place for you.

Wir verbrachten 3 Nächte in einem Cottage und konnten an JEDEM Abend die Polarlichter sehen. Dazu war nicht mehr nötig, als einige Schritte aus dem Cottage und zum Parkplatz zu gehen.
Der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Cottages sind einfach aber gut ausgestattet und die Aussicht beim Aufwachen ist himmlisch!
Gleich daneben befindet sich ein Pferdehof, Ausritt dort kann ich ebenfalls nur empfehlen.
Da wir uns in die Natur und in Island verliebt haben, werden wir sicherlich wiederkommen und wieder ein Cottage buchen!

Sehr ruhig gelegenes Hotel mit wunderschönem Ausblick das trotzdem nicht weit von der Hauptstraße entfernt ist.
Wir hatten einen Cottage, welcher über eine kleine Küche verfügt.
Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und die Zimmer waren sauber.
Das Highlight war der warme Whirlpool (ca. 42° Celsius).
