Hestheimar is a charming place located in the heart of South Iceland, between the Golden Circle and the road to Vik. They have six comfortable cottages where you can feel at home and very nice and comfortable rooms. The breakfast room and the living room have a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside, the large ranch and the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes. Here you can relax in the midst of nature with a nice bath in the hot tubs while enjoying a hot chocolate or a glass of wine.

Booked a last minute 1 hour riding tour with my family (2 adults and an 8 and 9 year old). The horses were perfect for beginners and our guide was calm, engaging and made our youngest feel confident. We really appreciated her taking the time to take a family photo of us on horseback and trying out different pacing on the way back. A beautiful location for riding and close to Reykjavik. The kittens in the stables were an added bonus! Highly recommended.

We booked a riding tour as experienced riders. We got horses that were very calm and friendly but not that easy to ride. Their told was amazing and they were very high lifting. Our guide was very nice and chatty and the landscape we saw on the tour was really beautiful. Would 100% recommend.

Večeře i snídaně, hot tub, úžasně vybavené pokoje, koně, hned vedle domu. Prostě super. Taky tu je nejlepší informational folder. Jsou tam tipy na výlety, nejbližší obchody a spoustu dalšího!????

El personal es increíblemente amable, llegamos muy tarde porque se canceló nuestro vuelo y nos recolocaron en otro, y al llegar de madrugada vimos en la recepcion( que dejaron abierta) un cartel pegado a una silla con mi nombre y todos los datos para alojarnos, las cabañas muy bonitas, muy limpias y con todo lo necesario, por la mañana dimos una vuelta por la granja y estuvimos con los caballos, lo recomiendo por completo, si vuelvo....volveré aquí. Annalisa, nos llamó que se nos había quedado algo atrás y muy pendientes todo el tiempo.....mil gracias por dejarnos tan dulce recuerdo de nuestra visita a su hotel.
