We stopped to eat here on our way to Reykjavik and it was very nice and cozy. The food was great and our waiter Blerin was funny and helpful. Thank you

NOT FOR NON-RESIDENTS. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. This was the only horrible part of Iceland.

Ristorante elegante, piatti veramente buoni a prezzi onesti.
Titolare cortese e simpatica.
Consigliato!

This charming boutique hotel had something truly special. Aside from witnessing the Northern Lights for the first time during our nearly 10-day stay in Iceland, we felt very comfortable there. We stayed in the adjacent apartments. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the young woman who checked us in and also served us in the restaurant was exceptionally kind—her demeanor was greatly appreciated. The hotel is beautifully situated and additionally offers two well-designed hot tubs. The apartments were lovingly and modernly furnished. We would book there again if we're in the vicinity, perhaps sometime in the summer.

The boutique hotel Anna is a gem, offering a delightful blend of tranquility and exclusivity without feeling isolated. Having frequented this establishment during my domestic travels around the country, I consistently find it to be a noteworthy stop for dinner, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow travelers. The culinary delights and service at the hotel exceed expectations, showcasing the expertise of a clearly professional chef in the kitchen, coupled with an excellent service staff.

During my most recent stay, which prompted this review, I opted for an overnight experience for a weekend getaway. As a local resident, choosing this hotel speaks volumes about its appeal to those familiar with the area. I was accommodated in a charming small apartment, housed in a separate building from the main hotel. One notable feature was the inviting hot tub area outside. A small suggestion to the hotel owner: consider maintaining different temperatures in the two tubs to provide guests with the option to choose their preferred warmth.

The hot tub area, overall, was a highlight of our stay. Enjoying a late-night soak, gazing at the stars and catching a glimpse of the aurora, added an extra layer of magic to the experience. The attention to detail in creating such serene spaces truly enhances the overall charm of the hotel.

Come morning, the positive experience continued with a good breakfast. I even captured a video of the beautifully set table. Despite a relatively low number of guests—approximately six people in the dining area during our breakfast—the selection was impressive, showcasing a variety that surpassed expectations. It's worth noting that our visit occurred outside the tourist season, contributing to a more intimate and peaceful ambiance.

As a local individual who frequently travels solo, this review reflects my genuine and uncompensated experience. Boutique Hotel Anna has consistently proven to be a top choice for an enchanting escape, and I look forward to returning to this charming establishment in the future.

So much better than staying in the city. Absolutely loved our time here...clean and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff, excellent dinner. We so enjoyed the friendly little horses roaming the grounds. And of course, we had to climb the hills behind the hotel and take in the wonderful view. What a fantastic setting for a hotel.

Great rooms with separate living/eating area. Restaurant was very nice and the food was delicious. Local dishes. Was raining so didn’t use the hot tub. It was pricey, though.

Zimmer im alten Haus waren sehr eng, Möbel sehr antik, unpraktisch, Duschentüre defekt. Durchgang für alle zum Frühstücksraum!
Dinnerraum sehr urchig und schön gedeckt. Essen gut! Bedienung sehr freundlich! Insgesamt zu teuer für wenig Komfort.

I love the outdoor hot tub. It is the only hotel that I stayed at with a warm breakfast and it was cooked to order. So good. The room was very clean and comfortable. Can't wait to return

We visited the restaurant while touring the sightsin the area and wow, what an amazing place this is! We had some smoked haddock, lobster soup, lamb and cod. Everything was fresh and made to order. The guy serving us made sure everything was ok and was very efficient.

The sign at the road said cafe/restaurant so we stopped by this beautiful location but sadly it didnt appear to be a cafe, the waiter still gave us two bad tasting cafes and two sodas and charged us 2500 for it, really overpriced.
Recomend they take down the cafe sign

We stayed in a Beautifully appointed room with a comfortable bed and all necessities to make us feel comfortable. The bathrobes and mini chocolates were a nice touch. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of traditional Icelandic and continental fare. Please note: Rooms located on upper floors are accessed via wooden stairs which may be difficult for guests with large bags

A real guest house with warm welcome, a little outdated but decent rooms, and a nice restaurant with a good value for money. Our favourite address in Iceland.
