This exhibition center on the Viking Age, and the Saga of Njáll the Burnt, also plays an important role in the town's tourism. It is located inside the Valhalla restaurant. The center's small brochure features a schematic map showing the saga's historic sites, as well as the Bergsthórshvoll farm where Njáll and his family were burnt alive, and Gunnar's farm, Hliðarendi. It's an interesting way to discover the Icelandic Sagas from a different angle, and you can also buy a few souvenirs.
