Hát nem erre számítottunk! Rendelésnél figyeljetek, hogy a hostel vagy a hotel részbe foglaltok szállást. A hostel sokkolt engem. Picike szoba két emeletes ággyal, fogassal. Közös zuhany és toalett. A földszinten a vacsora elkészítésére van lehetőség, ha éppen nem más teszi ezt. Az ágy kényelmetlen volt, összetörten ébredtem. Legalább kárpótolt reggelre a friss hó.

Wat ons betreft een oke hotel, niet bijzonder.

Minpunt van ons bezoek was dat om 4:40 's nachts het brandalarm afging in het hotel. Na ca. 10 minuten werd dit weer uitgezet zonder verdere uitleg over wat er aan de hand was (we vermoeden vals alarm op een van de kamers). Kan een keer gebeuren natuurlijk, maar wel vervelend. Daarnaast was het ook erg warm op de kamer.

During our stay at the Puffin Hotel in Vik on our way to Höfn, we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and services provided. The hotel's central location made it easy for us to explore the charming town of Vik and its surrounding attractions. The free parking was a convenient bonus for our road trip.

Our room at the hotel was cozy and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable night's rest for our family. We were particularly grateful for the cot that was set up for our small child, making our stay much more convenient and enjoyable.

In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast spread that gave us the energy we needed for the day ahead. The friendly staff at the hotel made us feel welcome and taken care of during our short visit.

Overall, our experience at the Puffin Hotel in Vik was wonderful and we would highly recommend it to other travelers passing through the area. It provided the perfect rest stop for us on our journey to Höfn.

He visto baños más grades que mi habitación. Le pongo un 2 por que, almenos, se puede dormir.
Los espacios que tiene son inhumanos.

Great little hostel right in the middle of Vik. Very warm inside and has a communal living room, kitchen and shower rooms. Very cosy little place. Would stay here again. 3 of us had a triple bed room on the top floor

We stayed in the Puffin HOTEL, NOT the hostel last March. It looks like a number of these reviews are for the hostel.

The hotel was amazing. It was clean and cheap with good breakfast. The staff were very nice, which seemed to be the normal around Iceland. We didn't have a fridge in our room, but the hotel staff were able to store some refrigerated meds for us in a fridge only staff had access to. This was the hotel, not the hostel, so there wasn't a public kitchen. Granted I didn't look for one either. Any drinks we wanted cold we stuck outside on our snowy balcony. At night some people gathered in the dining room to hangout and play games. I think there was a small bar there as well.

Its clean, the people are nice, the food wasn't bad. We liked our room. It's not meant to be a luxury hotel and it doesn't claim to be one. That said, it exceeded our expectations. We'd absolutely stay there again.

Een fijn hotel in Vik y Myrdal. Grote kamers, voldoende primaire voorzieningen. Ideaal als hub tussen West en Zuidoost IJsland. Vriendelijke en toegewijde medewerkers.

Easy check in and check out. It includes breakfast. Very near the black sand beach and the black crust pizzeria. Kind receptionist. :)

Molto comodo, in centro a vik. Staff gentile e disponibile. Il proprietario parla anche in italiano per che avesse problemi con l'inglese.

Nous avons passé une nuit là bas. Très bien pour une nuit, les chambres sont propres bien qu'assez exiguës. L'équipement est rudimentaire mais suffisant pour le type d'hébergement. L'isolation des murs est toutefois insuffisante, on entend quand même beaucoup ses voisins de chambre. Mais encore une fois cela correspond à une auberge de jeunesse.
