Founded in 1910 in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region, with the emblematic Livarot as its flagship product, this cheese dairy has long remained a family business. Eugène, Bernard, Thierry - three generations of Graindorge have succeeded one another. Then, in 2016, the group was sold to Lactalis, who maintained the company's identity and value. The "Cheese Village" invites you to take an audio-guided tour (recommended in the morning) of the cheese factory and its workshops through a glass gallery, followed by a tasting session.

I love cheese, so when I found out my tour included a cheese factory tour, well, let me just say, I had my fill. The facility is amazing. And at the gift shop, you can purchase cheese to bring home. I highly recommend.
