A local guide will take you on a tractor ride to the Ingólfshöfði headland! This historic nature reserve is home to thousands of seabirds, including puffins and great skuas. The cape is named after Iceland's first settler, Ingolfur Arnarson, who spent his first winter on the island around 870. The drive takes about 25 minutes, leaving 1.5 hours to get there. If you are keen to see puffins, feel free to opt for their special puffin tour instead, taking warm clothes with you.
