Three-star hotel with a breathtaking view of Iceland's highest mountain, located off Route 1.

Without being exceptional, this 3 star hotel located in a white building with rooms all equipped with bathroom remains a good address. On the spot, a restaurant to enjoy after a day. It is also very well located to explore the surrounding glaciers and only 800 m from the Svínafellsjökull glacier arm, sheltered by a moraine. The hotel has a breathtaking view of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnukur, and Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull. The hotel is located on the edge of Route 1, a few kilometres from Skaftafell.

Magnifique hôtel niché sous le glacier. Les chambres étaient petites et pittoresques. Le petit déjeuner était superbe. Le service était supérieur. Nous avons adoré cet hôtel

Bel hôtel, bien situé. Le restaurant est assez cher. Soyez prêt à payer entre 6000 et 7000isk juste pour votre plat principal.

Nous avons trouvé notre séjour très agréable et simple. Bien que les chambres soient petites, ce qui a été mentionné dans d'autres critiques, nous l'avons trouvé tout à fait convenable. Les employés sont très chaleureux et sympathiques, tout est propre et bien rangé et le petit déjeuner est délicieux et copieux.

Après avoir séjourné dans quelques hôtels/hébergements, il s'agit d'une mise à jour par rapport aux autres. Bon restaurant sur place (un peu cher cependant), personnel propre et sympathique, vue magnifique, emplacement génial!
