Three-star hotel with a breathtaking view of Iceland's highest mountain, located off Route 1.

Without being exceptional, this 3 star hotel located in a white building with rooms all equipped with bathroom remains a good address. On the spot, a restaurant to enjoy after a day. It is also very well located to explore the surrounding glaciers and only 800 m from the Svínafellsjökull glacier arm, sheltered by a moraine. The hotel has a breathtaking view of Iceland's highest mountain, Hvannadalshnukur, and Europe's largest glacier, Vatnajökull. The hotel is located on the edge of Route 1, a few kilometres from Skaftafell.

Cet hôtel était bien situé et le service était sympathique. Il semble qu'ils travaillent sur la rénovation des installations. Notre chambre était spacieuse et avait de bons rideaux occultants. La salle de bain était très petite et il était difficile de travailler avec. La douche ne se vidait pas et l'eau continuait de passer du gel au tiède. Le petit déjeuner était bon, mais pas notre préféré le long de la rocade. Il y a une belle station-service, un restaurant et une épicerie juste de l'autre côté de la route.
