Das Wetter ungemütlich bei starken Wind und teilweise Eisregen. Aber bei gutem Wetter kann ja jeder????
Unser Guide war super. Wir sind mit dem Kleinbus bis an den Gletscherrand gebracht worden.
Jeder Zeit wieder.
We’ve hiked in the UK but never anything requiring crampons so I was slightly apprehensive, and while not an easy walk the pace was absolutely manageable and everything was explained incredibly well. There was plenty of pauses throughout to explain what we were seeing on the glacier or to take photos. We felt super safe, and had the most amazing time.
Matteo was knowledgeable beyond our expectations and the views were incredible, definitely a once in a lifetime experience we really enjoyed.
Greetings from the Netherlands
nette Gruppe.

Würden es jedem jederzeit weiterempfehlen.
Their website doesnt state that information. We only came because my wife wanted to come.
Everyone else went on the glacier hike and had a nice time (thats why this rating is very generous with more than 1 star).
Oh, and the hike is super easy, its ridiculous they didnt allow us to go.
So stupid. Costs a lot. Update the fraking website with this policy to avoid this confusion.
Educate your guides about rudeness. Dont be lazy dumba**es. Very dumb experience overall.
Finally we arrived at 10am, ok we were late a little bit(On the voucher it’s said 20 minutes prior…). but the only solution was to wait for the afternoon trip.
Impossible to get any refund, impossible to join another trip (maybe operated by the same or another agency?) with an extra fee.
The guide of the afternoon trip was nice.
Our children enjoyed it tremendously, but if you go, make sure you are fit and have strong legs and ankles. You must have high shoes with you and use the prescribed equipment provided by your guide. Bring enough water or tea with you plus a lunchpack. There is one break at the ice cave, no further breaks.
They offered us the next morning trip but it was more expensive and we would have to pay the difference. Unfortunately we did not have the money or the time to do that,as we had already plans to leave the area the next morning.
I am unhappy for the whole experience because I had this planned a long time ago, and had promised this to my two boys who were devastated. I think they could have organized it better with more clear instructions. Since it is a small group experience they could even try to communicate with us when they see time passes by and there's no show, we are travellers and a lot of things could happen when you're on the road.
Secondly, there's poor communication, the guy from Rekyavik headquarters should immediately call the guide in his mobile and ask him to wait for a couple of minutes. Instead he texted the guide 1 minute before our arrival and that's how we missed our glacier experience.Maybe there should be another person in the base not just a guide who tries to do everything.
Finally, since no equipment was used and there was a smaller group they should offer even a partial refund, since the option they offered us wouldn't suit us.
I am really sorry.
