Dedicated to the writer Þórbergur Þórðarson (1888-1974), this museum traces his life through his history and works. The museum is very well designed, with several rooms recreating the places where Þórbergur lived and the important moments of his life. A must-see if you're just passing through, especially as opening hours are quite flexible. Don't miss the facade, which mimics a library shelf. You can also stay at the Hali Country Hotel or eat on site.
