Brunnholl farmhouse with a slatted terrace, rooms with private bathroom, living room

Brunnhóll Farm is a modern 30-cow farm that has retained its adjoining old church. Accommodation in a separate building. Most rooms have private bathrooms. Cooking facilities are available on site. The communal living room has large bay windows opening onto a slatted terrace and fields where sheep graze. Books, crayons and toys for children. Breakfast service (the lady of the house is renowned for her delicious crêpes) and dinner to order.

Für uns wären es 4 Sterne gewesen aber die Kinder plädieren für 5, also gibt es 5. das Frühstück ist gut, Abendessen mit recht wenig Auswahl. Die Gemeinschaftsküche läd nicht wirklich zum selbst kochen ein. Gut gefallen haben uns die Familienzimmer die sehr großzügig und mit Blick zum Gletscher waren, die kleinen Gemeinschaftsecken zum Kartenspielen alle paar Meter auf den Fluren und unkomplizierte und nette Menschen.

Except that the young portuguese waitress was really kind, the food that the chef made was not tastefull. Precooked springrolls and deep fried fish that tasted bad. All this for 12 000Isk.

Thumbs up for the lovely waitress though.

Nettes Touristenhotel ist eben groß sodass man z.b. Frühstückszeiten angeben muss. Das Personal ist nett und bemüht ist halt ein Hotel für eine Nacht.
Die Dusch - WC Kombination ist jetzt nicht so umwerfend...
Aber alles in Ordnung!
