Albergo stupendo. La migliore cosa, la qualità del buffet, varietà e prodotti freschi presentati con gusto e delicatezza. Le stanze sono anche comode ma austere. Location inmigliorabile in mezzo al quasi nulla con possibilità di vedere le aurore boreali se il cielo è limpido e chiaro. Servizio molto professionale. Pulizia assoluta.

Mooi ligging van het hotel, kamers zien er prima uit. De bedden liggen ook goed. Voor het dinner kon je kiezen voor een buffet, dit was zeker een aanrader. Genoeg keuze en de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is prima. Bij het ontbijt was er ook voldoende keuze.

Die überschwänglichen Berichte in Bezug auf das Abendbüffet können wir nicht ansatzweise nachvollziehen. Es ist zwar alles irgendwie da, irgendwie aber auch nicht. Die Suppe war absolut ohne jeden Geschmack, das Fleisch zum Hauptgang war eher billiges Zeugs wie Hühnerflügel und Rippchen, lediglich das Hammelfleisch war ordentlich. Beilagen waren übersichtlich. Dessert war mittelmäßig. Wir würden die 55€ pro Person nicht noch einmal ausgeben.

Zum Frühstück sind wir extra zur „ruhigen“ Zeit gegangen (wie sie der Hotelier nennt). Leider hatten die Vorgäste und Reisegruppen gut geplündert und das Personal hatte nicht so recht Lust wieder aufzufüllen.

Das Zimmer war angenehm.

Die Lage ist nett, aber leidlich abseits. An den See kommt man auch nicht.

Für eine Nacht OK, mehr aber nicht. Preis-Leistung sind auf Island ja ohnehin so eine Sache … . Hier stimmte es für uns aber gar nicht.
