Center to discover the fauna and flora of the Vatnajökull National Park, information on the region is also offered.
This information centre opened in June 2010. In a large, solid grey building, there is a multimedia exhibition and a number of charts explaining the flora and fauna of Vatnajökull National Park. There is also information about the region to help you prepare for your trip, a souvenir shop and a small cafeteria. A very welcome break to spend 10-15 minutes. The centre is located a few kilometres south of Hengifoss.

Outre un centre d'information, ce lieux cache un buffet excellent ! A ne pas rater si vous passez dans le coin. Buffet vraiment abordable, accueil sympa. Il faut absolument tester la reinder pie!
