Technology museum with exhibits on Seyðisfjörður's historic houses and ancient telecommunications.
The 1894 building, originally the home of a Norwegian merchant, became the headquarters of Iceland's first telegraph in 1906. In this technological museum, you can admire exhibits on both the historic houses of Seyðisfjörður and early telecommunications. In fine weather, you can picnic in the gardens. Despite a landslide in 2020 that destroyed half the museum, it's still worth visiting for its playfulness.
