DVERGASTEINN
A remarkable cone-shaped rock on a beach of the old presbytery of Seyðisfjörður.
The old rectory of Seyðisfjörður was located in Dvergasteinn until 1938 when the church was moved to the town. A large, strange-looking rock, Dvergasteinn, is located on the beach between the shore and the old, now deserted farm. This cone-shaped rock, with small and large holes, is supposed to be the home of the elves. If you don't meet them, you can at least marvel at this unusual rock, whose relief has surely been formed by erosion, wind or frost.
