Tourgéville Military Cemetery, a moving place of remembrance with 293 graves of soldiers
Established in 1918, the Tourgéville Military Cemetery is a moving place of remembrance, where 293 graves of soldiers from the First World War are lined up. It is exceptionally well-maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Indeed, at the end of the war, a decree provided for the perpetual concession of this plot of land by France to the United Kingdom so that the latter could bury the soldiers who had fallen on French soil.
