GeoSea is truly a world mecca for geothermal bathing, great views of the bay and visible whales.

An experience that draws on the historical roots of a small fishing town that has been tapping the earth's geothermal waters for centuries. It is the rare union of mineral-rich seawater and the heat of the earth's core. Perched along a west-facing cliff overlooking Skjálfandi Bay and the Arctic Circle to the north, the baths are the perfect vantage point for whale watchers and those looking for the Northern Lights

This experience is truly beyond words. The views were breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to witness the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis while relaxing in the pool. The staff's exceptional friendliness further enhanced our stay. We express our sincere gratitude for this wonderful experience.

I really enjoyed this experience and I'm calling it an experience rather than a visit. It's not the biggest in terms of pool area but the views are the very best in Iceland from a pool in my opinion. We visited in February and it was bracing to say the least but kind of made the vibe even better as you battled against the freezing gale force wind just to get to the pool. However, I would advise, particularly if you're like me and a little short of hair on top, to wear a hat in those conditions. I was extremely glad of it!

This was a true Icelandic experience! Me and my partner went for an external oceanview hot bath for the first time and it was amazing! We really enjoyed having a sunset view to the ocean and the mountains.
