The Whale Museum in Húsavík is a non-profit organization, founded in 1997. Its main goal is to provide detailed and interesting information about whales and their habitat. The Whale Museum, along with the Research University of Iceland, is the educational component of whale watching, which is popular in Húsavík during the summer months.

Bijzondere skeletten van vele soorten walvissen. Een must om te gaan zien.
Tienen una amplia colección de esqueletos de ballenas, así como una exposición sobre la relevancia de estos animales para Islandia. También tienen una tienda de regalitos con cosas muy monas.
