A museum that traces the history of the city and the fjord through various objects and works of art
The museum traces the history of the town and the fjord through various objects and works of art. Temporary exhibitions are also organised in the summer on various themes such as historical walks, a singing evening in the museum church, a market day in Laufás, Christmas preparations in Laufás, etc. The museum's small church with walls blackened by tar plaster (the oldest in the town) also hosts the Summer Nights Singing Festival.

Focus on maps and music was a little odd. Would have liked more English explanations in the basement.

Vraiment très agréable comme musée, surtout la partie en plein air. Je conseille.
