ECOMUSEUM FARM GLAUMBÆR
Picturesque ecomuseum, presenting the traditional Icelandic habitat in an old farm.
A picturesque echolocate presenting the traditional Icelandic habitat in this ancient peat farm with its church, on a site that has been inhabited since the beginning of colonization. The oldest part of the current peat farm (which was inhabited until 1947) dates back to the eighteenth century. The café Áskaffi is located in a more recent wooden house of 1886. This house was located in Ási í Hegranesi and was raised here. Gilsstofa is another wooden house that was moved and moved back to the Glaumbær Museum in 1997.
