Stayed here last night. Great spot. Six cabins around geothermal stone hot pot. Great northern lights. Cabin very well maintained and everyone we spoke with was very helpful. Try the horseback riding while you are there. Wonderful stay.

We.loved our experience with the horses. It was a gorgeous winter's day and the staff were just lovely and friendly.

Highly recommended for a horse ride and if your party are not totally into riding, then there is a gorgeous walk to he waterfall.

One of the highlights of our trip to Iceland.

My family and I did the Chasing Waterfalls horse riding tour. All of the horses we rode were extremely well mannered and easy to ride. We are inexperienced riders and felt safe the whole time. Our youngest is only 5 years old and he did fantastic on his horse with a huge smile on his face! Just to be safe, a guide rode next to our youngest son to help if needed.

I was hesitant to write this review because I wish I could keep this place a secret! One of the best places we had the pleasure of experiencing along our 10 road trip.

Hestasport is a very special place, the cabins are wonderful, spacious and fully stocked with everything you need, but the highlight for us was the hot spring, unfortunately we were only able to stay for 1 night but what a night it was...as we soaked in the hot spring late at night after a long day of driving we were blessed with the most spectacular Northern Lights show that lasted for hours, we could not believe our eyes, it was truly a night to remember and one we will never forget, it was pure magic and a check off the bucket list!

There are only several cottages available at this location so book in advance, you will be so incredibly happy you did, you'll wish you could stay for a week!!

Die Cottages sind super gemütlich und gut ausgestattet, alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und die Pferde bestens geeignet für jedes Reiterniveau! Und der Hot Pot ist natürlich ein absolutes Highlight ????

Great accommodation. Very rustic decoration. Everything is made of wood. Very large open space with plenty of room. Large comfortable bed. Couch with table and a bar/kitchen big enough and equipped to cook all sorts of meals. But the best part is the setting in nature. It’s surrounded by grass lands. There’s a shared hot tub in the center of all the houses which is really great.

Nous avons effectué une grande balade de 3h, c’était suffisant quand on ne fait pas de l’équitation régulièrement. Maude notre guide était vraiment au top, pleine de bonne humeur et d’enthousiasme elle nous a tenu compagnie avec pleins de bonnes information tout au long de la balade et encadrait très bien nos chevaux! Les paysages étaient incroyables et nous avons pu bien tulter et galoper!

Très belle balade à cheval, les chevaux sont extrêmement respectueux et s’adaptent au niveau du cavalier. Découverte des allures islandaises avec de beaux paysages, très chouette!
Nous avons échangé tout le long avec l’accompagnatrice, pleine de bons conseils pour la suite de notre séjour. Je recommande vivement.

Splendidi cottages attrezzati di tutto, in tipico stile islandese, immersi nel verde, un oasi di silenzio... piscina con acqua calda al centro del giardino per una pausa relax nella natura.

Für mich die beste Adresse zum Reiten auf Island. Ich habe einen 3 stündigen Ausritt gemacht,-super Guide, hervorragendes Pferd und sehr gepflegtes Sattelzeug.Die Route unbeschreiblich schön.

Très belle balade, avec vue sur la cascade, chevaux en avant mais sécures... Étudiantes accompagnant, très sympa. Petit bémol, balade annoncée 1h30 qui n'a duré qu'1h05. Qd on a manifesté notre étonnement, on ns a répondu que c'était le tour habituel, qu'il faisait 1h30, mais qu'on avait trotté et que dc, on l'avait fait plus vite ... 70€ pr 1h d'équitation, c'est pas donné... Mais c'était beau...

We went for the short waterfall tour, with 3 children aged 6, 7 and 10. The horses were calm and friendly. Both the kids and the grownups had a wonderful experience, thanks to the horses and our two guides. Highly recommended.

A marvelous place to stay. Everything is excellent. The cottage we have been to was cozy, warm, full of natural light and well equipped, including a kitchenette. The best is the hot pool in the middle of the place, a kind of paradise. A must stay !

יולי 2023. קוטג' נהדר,מרווח,נקי ומאובזר. הבריכה הגיאותרמית נהדרת. יש חלוקים וכפכפים בחדר. שירות ויחס מעולה מהצוות. נחמד לראות את דגל המדינה שלך כשאתה מגיע. התמורה עולה על התשלום. כדאי ביותר!!!

Wonderful experience both on the horseback ride and staying at one of the cottages. Our riding guide was very knowledgeable and friendly; the horses were responsive and energetic; the cottage lovely, well-stocked, and comfortable; and the soaking pool beyond sublime. Would be a perfect place to stay for a writer's retreat or with a group of friends.

Según llegamos a la casa con 6 grados al exterior no había calefacción y lo solucionaron en un par de horas .
Las cortinas son de tela fina con lo cual en verano que es todo el rato de día nos costó dormirnos y no despertamos muy pronto un aspecto a mejorar.
La hot tub está bien aunque por el centro quema tenga cuidado !
No recomiendo la excursion a caballo con ellos no nos indicaron los establos hasta el día siguiente justo antes del paseo, al coger el corto tampoco nos dejo galopar y para colmo al dejar los caballos en un terreno estaban todos apilados y el terreno era muy pequeño para tanto caballo junto. Todo lo contrario a lo que se ve por la Ring Road.
En la página web te pone que elijas como quieres al caballo y no nos pusieron nada de lo que solicitamos ni siquiera parecido.

Meine Freundin und ich hatten bei euch eine Wunderbare Zeit mit tollen ritten in eine unbeschreiblich schöne Landschaft. Ganz großes Dankeschön an Sara die ums die Tag begleitet hat. Danke auch an den Stall , der mit Bedacht die Pferde auswählt . Gute Reiter werden entsprechend abgeholt und das passen Pferd wird gesucht auf individuelle Wünsche wurde super eingegangen. Auch Give me 5 wird ein unvergessliches Erlebnis bleiben. Die Häuser waren super! Sauber , gut ausgestattet und gemütlich. Wir kommen wieder!!! Danke an alle

Stayed here the night before we did our white water rafting experience (Viking rafting 5/5 stars), as it was not too far away. We loved our stay. Cabins were very clean, comfy and had everything you’d need. There is a conveniently located gas station/store down the road you can get a few groceries at. Also check-in (reception) is a few minutes drive away!
