THE ICELANDIC FARM ANIMALS
A new project was created in Skagafjörður, north of Iceland, under the name The Icelandic Farm Animals. At the origin of this one, three Islanders, headed three farms with different animals in light. Long-standing friends living close to each other, they decided to join forces to offer visitors an immersion in Icelandic rural life. It is possible to visit every farm by taking part in activities, and also to participate in the treasure hunt of the association, which will make you discover the region! Evelyn Ýr has an equestrian farm in Lýtingsstaðir, where a herd of 100 horses, sheep, and of course shepherds' dogs come together! Evelyn offers horse walks in sublime landscapes, as well as nights in wooden chalets. The last extension of the farm is the old peat stable, built a few years ago according to traditional know-how, where visitors can learn more about the history of the Icelandic horse.
