Ist halt ein Parkplatz mit Stromanschluss, wobei der mit 1400 Kronen zu teuer ist! Campingkarte wird nicht anerkannt! Wenigstens gibt es einen Rabatt für Senioren.

We read some pretty bad reviews about this but came here anyway and have to say that we had a totally different experience. Great views. Location next to grocery and petrol station is great. Plenty of space and the facilities are great! Heated bathrooms?!

Nichts besonderes. Sehr teuer, keine Duschen, Aufenthaltsraum schliesst am Abend. Einen Showers Only Eintritt im Schwimmbad wäre fair. Wir sind nach einer lange Fahrradtour am Abend verschwitzt angekommen, wären gerne rasch unter die Dusche ohne noch das Schwimmbad zu besuchen.

Małe miasteczko chociaż jak na Islandię całkiem spore. Jest sklep spożywczy, sklep z alkoholem, stacja benzynowa. Camping a obok basen z wodą termalną. Nie odpalił nam samochód to i mechanik się znalazł, który pomógł.

Camping accettabile, non ci sono ne lavatrice ne asciugatrice, inoltre la doccia si paga a parte nella vicina piscina.. In pratica un area di sosta con servizi igienici.

Viel besser und günstiger als erwartet und hier in den Bewertungen beschrieben. Zu zweit ca. 20 Euro, schöner Stellplatz für ein Zelt mit Auto direkt daneben. Tolle Aussicht aufs Meer einerseits und die Berge andererseits. Top!

Campingplatz ist in ordnung für den Preis, aber (ca 3500 Kr) keine Duschen auf dem Platz. Dafür ein Schwimmbad direkt neben/auf dem Campingplatz, das dann aber nochmal extra kostet. Innenräume mit Küche und Tischen schliessen ab 21:00h, was sehr früh ist.

Great little campsite overlooking a bay full of whales! 4 stars only because the don’t have showers but I recommend paying for the next door pool to shower, swim, and soak in the hot tubs!

Schön ist anders, da es aber keine andere Möglichkeit in der Nähe gibt (wissen die wohl auch) war's relativ teuer.
KEINE Duschen, WC eher spärlich eingerichtet.
Kleine Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden, Grill ebenfalls.
Wer Duschen möchte, muss ins Schwimmbad nebenan für richtig viel Geld.

Je vous recommande le tout petit camping non référencé Hveravik (lieu-dit) face à Holmavik à environ 8 km avant Drangsnes. Dans un étroit virage, deux bâtiments, une petite pancarte et des vapeurs d’eau chaude se dégagent librement.
A l’abri du vent, belle pelouse, cuisine super équipée, sdb tout confort, grande salle de repos/ repas et … une piscine d’eau géothermale.
2500 Kr par personne (électricité non comprise).

Also der Campingplatz könnte schon angenehm sein, aber es gibt keine Duschen, also muss man ins Schwimmbad gleich nebenan und das kostet richtig.
1 Übernachtung mit 2 Pers. und Wohnmobil mit Eintritt Schwimmbad, da keine Duschen im WC Trakt sind, stolze 48 €. Einfach zu teuer!

Large campsite close to Holmavik (12 min walk), with a grocery store across the road. The kitchen and community room was closed when we arrived (end of May). Dirty toilets without toilet paper, and showers costed 1300 ISK PER PERSON. We would not come back.

Marvelous little town at the entrance to the westfjords. A must visit are the Witchcraft museum and café Riis. Ask for the beer directly brewed in Hólmavík, it's fantastic!

Winter camping

Many facilities are not available for wintercamping. What to expect:
The toilets are clean and warm.
No cooking facilities.
Lots of space to park your campervan. (Private camping)
Shower available between 9.00 and 21.00 if you pay.

Very expensive camping compared to the facilities.

We’ve expected the worst reading some of the reviews but our experience luckily was way different.
Sure, it is a small campsite but the view couldn’t be more amazing. We have a view on the bay and a toilet building nearby. There is an extra building with bathrooms at the end of the road. The camping staff was really friendly, the campsite is combined with the local sporting centre and swimming pool which shower facilities you can use for free till 21:00. So if you arrive late you’ll have to wait till morning.
For the summer (or die hards in winter) there is a BBQ spot with view on the bay.
We chose to have dinner in town in stead, and store op some groceries from the supermarket across the road for the last part of our trip.

Pas de douche, un toilette fermé sur trois. Aucune indication sur le site ou il faut payer seulement sur leur page internet . Village très agréable

Village très agréable avec bain d'eau chaude, l'environnement immédiat est parfait. Petit camping propre et à l'abri du vent, profitez bien !

Lieu très agréable, avec vue sur la mer. Sentiers de randonnée à deux pas du camping, douche et toilettes sont comprises dans le prix. Piscine dans le camping qui coûte autant qu'une nuit, ou vous pourrez vous prélasser dans des bains à 38°C ainsi que dans une piscine plus fraîche, mais tout aussi agréable par un temps si frais!

Very nice location. View on a water body, wow! However, showers are limits for cleanliness. No common room, and we do dishes outside. We were lucky to have been to this campsite when they were beautiful.
