HÔTEL DJÚPAVÍK
Hotel in a renovated building, offering rooms on the 1st floor, rooms in cottages, sleeping bag accommodation
This small hotel occupies a building constructed in 1930 to house women working in the herring factory during the heyday of the herring fishery. Converted into a hotel in 1985, eight rooms are located on the second floor, with shared bathroom and washbasin. Full board is also available, with excellent local cuisine. Rooms in nearby cottages are also available: Álfsasteinn Cottage and Lækjarkot Cottage, at slightly lower rates. Full details on the website.
