You won't want to miss this agency's highly visible office on the harbor. Founded in 1999, Seatours offers excursions on the waters of Breiðafjörður and among the islets of Hvammsfjörður. One of our favorites is the Viking Sushi Tour, with tastings of live-caught shellfish! Seatours also acts as a ferry, serving the town of Brjánslækur, this time from Stykkisholmur. Please note that in bad weather, some routes may be suspended, so check the weather conditions.

FERRY
Nous avons utilisé le ferry entre BRJANSLAEKUR et STYKKISHOLMUR. Sur le quai de départ aucune info pour se placer . Nous avons fini par nous mettre en ligne derrière un véhicule qui semblait connaître... Traversée très agréable, bateau spacieux, réservation en ligne impeccable. Le navire a fait escale sur l'ile de Flatey où l'on peut descendre en prenant le premier ferry et remonter avec le suivant. Très belles vues sur les montagnes si elles sont dégagées cela peut éviter aussi beaucoup de route.

Took the ferry from Stykkishólmur to Brjánslækur. It sure beats having to drive all the way around. On the downside, the vessel is in pretty depressing shape. Stained and ripped seats, poor paint job and rust everywhere, and severe rocking. They serve food and drinks but prices are pretty high. Crew is pretty unfriendly.

We were able to see some of the sights you wouldn't normally get to see if only touring by car. You're never going to get seafood any fresher than what you get on this boat. The captain was a little bit hard to understand but that's what happens in a foreign country so that should be expected. So really no complaints, we had fun.
