A water library in an old bookshop to discover an atypical exhibition in Stykkisholmur
Only in Iceland can you admire a "water library"! This unusual exhibition is housed in a former bookshop. In this installation, American artist Roni Horn has let the ice from 24 thousand-year-old Icelandic glaciers melt into glass columns, which reflect and refract the natural light entering through the bay window, which itself faces the sea. Even though it's closed, it's worth a visit for the view over the harbour and the city.
