Formidable pebble beach surrounded by sharp rocks where you can find four funny stallions in Snæfellsjökull

Don't miss this formidable pebble beach surrounded by sharp rocks. There are many rusting pieces of wreckage, traces of a bygone era when this was one of the most important fishing grounds, home to up to 60 boats. The site also features four strange benchmark stones used by seasonal fishermen to test their strength. The heaviest, Fullsterkur ("very strong"), weighs 154 kg, while the lightest, Amloði ("lousy"), weighs 23 kg. Be careful, the rocks can be slippery!

Les bout d'épave de bateau montre la puissance de la mer en Hiver. L'ambiance de cette plage au soleil couchant est magique. La plage offre également un très beau panorama sur le glacier snaefellsjokull
