Comfortable country hotel with spacious rooms with private bathrooms, some with kitchenette

If you've been driving for hours, the Hotel Bifrost offers a welcome break 1h30 from Reykjavik. More practical than aesthetic, it has the merit of being located between the capital and the north. The 51 rooms are spacious, with private bathrooms and some with kitchenettes. Breakfast is included and the on-site restaurant serves excellent food, but the price is rather high. For a truly magical experience, we recommend rooms with mountain views. Please note that there's not much else around.

Étaient un peu irrités par la façade fanée. A l'intérieur, un hôtel moderne et bien entretenu nous attendait. Comme partout en Islande, la nourriture était délicieuse.

L'endroit n'est pas du tout à la hauteur de ce qu'il apparaît sur le web. La piscine est fermée. L'hôtel est délabré et en mauvais état.
