One of the oldest buildings in the city, located at the end of the peninsula with two exhibitions in Borgarnes
The building, one of the oldest in the city, is located at the end of the peninsula. Allow 2 hours to enjoy the two exhibitions. The first multimedia exhibition allows you to discover who were the first inhabitants of the island. The second is dedicated to the Egill saga, one of the greatest Icelandic sagas. Audioguides are available in French. There is also a very decent restaurant despite a sometimes rushed service and a craft shop.
