Conveniently located just 14 km from Akranes and 22 km from Borgarnes, it offers a unique natural setting close to numerous hiking trails, and is ideal for watching the northern lights in winter. You have two towns nearby with large supermarkets. Wouldn't recommend eating in the restaurant, very expensive and basic.
It's also not as secluded (off a main road) but still pretty quiet. Would stay again.
