FUNTANA AL ORA * * *
Campsite at the foot of Capo d'Orto, in the shade of oak and eucalyptus trees, offering terraced pitches and a heated swimming pool
Away from Porto, its seaside resort and the busloads of tourists who flock here in summer, the Funtana a l'Ora ("Fountain in the shade") campsite is an almost wild little corner of paradise. Situated at the foot of Capo d'Orto, in the shade of oak and eucalyptus trees, the terraced pitches, often bordered by majestic rocks, offer an intimacy that is often rare on campsites. A heated swimming pool that hugs the mountain rock, a children's playground, a bar, a wood-fired pizzeria and an open-air fitness area.

Camping is not cosy and seems verry industrial and outdated. Sun dissappears behind the mountain at 16h, next to a busy road with many busses. No views whatsoever. We left early because we didn't feel pleasant here.
