This Beisl was opened by Matthias Czaak in 1926, in the Postsparkasse district, a little off the beaten tourist track. It's an authentic Beisl offering tasty, hearty local cuisine at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with a touch of artistry and intellectualism, and the service is efficient, which is not often the case in touristy Beisl... An address that really deserves to be known. Perhaps you'll make it your canteen? Tuesday is roast pork, cabbage and dumplings...
